Checklist Acronyms

In August 2014, 15 years after retiring as an airline pilot, I decided to do a little flying. I went out to the airport and checked out in a Cessna 172. Much to my dismay, I found that I had forgotten the verbal checklist acronyms I used to use when flying light aircraft, which I had not done for nearly 30 years. An Internet search turned them up, and they are below.

My return to flying didn't last long, a total of seven hours was all it took to show me that tooling around in light aircraft no longer had the thrill it once had. I missed having four engines, fourteen flight attendants, and oceans to cross.
