Hi, everybody. Just a quick note to let everyone know I'm still alive. Back on the road after 16 (yes, that's sixteen) days off. I'm about to leave for Manaos, Brazil (fuel and cargo stop) and then on to Buenos Aires, where we'll be stuck for a couple of days.
Last trip sequence (before the 16 days was a couple of trip sequences ferrying troops from Edwards Air Force base to army posts on the east coast. A combination of a hectic schedule, bad hotel phone connections, and an aching back kept me from communicating. While I'm sitting in Buenos Aires I'll write a little bit about the Edwards trips. Anyway, got to go.
